The music and radio industry continue to share their disbelief over the fatal accident involving Sheila Stewart.

Sheila Stewart, a Radio One personality in Washington D.C., was killed in a car accident in Atlanta, Ga., last week,

Details behind the cause of the accident are still limited at this time.

Stewart, who has more than 20 years in the radio business, was staying with her sister and working from home at the time of her death.

Most recently, she served as the News and Community Affairs Director for Radio One’s D.C. stations, delivering the news for 93.9 WKYS-FM, Praise 104.1 WPRS-FM, WOL-AM, WYCB-AM, and WMMJ-FM.

Funeral arrangements are set for today:


Sheila’s home going service is scheduled for Wednesday October 30, 2013.

The funeral services start at 11:00 am.
