A cross-dressing New Jersey man attempted to steal from his mother this week.
“The Star-Ledger” reports that Tita Nyambi is accused of dressing as his mother and attempting to withdraw money from her bank account. The 25-year-old allegedly pulled into the drive-thru at the Chase Bank in Franklin on Monday wearing his mother’s pink blouse, black coat and head scarf. He reportedly spoke in a high-pitched voice as he handed over his mother’s driver’s license and a request for 700-dollars. Bank employees became suspicious and called the police. Authorities arrested Nyambi at the bank, and charged him with third-degree forgery and attempted theft by deception.
