The Greater Houston Black Chamber has recently announce their 2013 Educational Achievement Awards Scholarship Program
Eligibility
Candidates for an Educational Achievement Scholarship must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Have a 3.0 or higher GPA on a 4.0 scale
Be a graduate high school senior from the Greater Houston Metropolitan area who has applied to one or more accredited colleges/universities
Be a member of one of the historically underrepresented minority groups (African American, Hispanic or Native American)
Selection
Educational Achievement Scholarship recipients are determined each year. Bu the organization’s scholarship committee based on academic performance, written essay, and community service. Scholarships recipients will receive notification of their selection by April 10th.
