A local guitarist is accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl at a church. According to reports, 42-year-old Rodney Marcus Grimsley is charged with aggravated sexual assault of a child. The assault reportedly occurred Sunday at the Zion Watchtower Baptist Church on FM 359.

Additional reports indicate that the mother of the victim noticed communication between her daughter and Grimsley on the social networking site Facebook. The mother then notified the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. Grimsley was a musician in a band that was playing at the church when he met the victim.

He was arrested at his home in Richmond on Wednesday evening and was being held Thursday in the Fort Bend County Jail on $175,000 bond. Grimsley reportedly admitted to the sexual assault; investigators are seeking other potential victims.
