(NEW YORK) — Just in time for those whose New Year’s resolutions involve losing weight, U.S. News & World Report has released the 2012 edition of its Best Diets rankings.

And with a new year comes a new centerpiece for the rankings, which is the first-ever listing of the “Easiest Diets to Follow.” This list consists of diets that supposedly make it easier for individuals to stick to their weight loss plans, and by extension live up to those resolutions. Experts say that while any diet can facilitate weight loss, it is those that dieters can stick to throughout the year, that prove to be the most successful ones.
