Hey, moms. Have you always dreamed of hosting your own TV show? Do you have a special knack in front of the camera? Well, here’s your chance to pursue your lifelong dream. Oprah Winfrey has announced that auditions for her new reality TV show will take place in Atlanta on Saturday, June 26th at the Khol’s store in Roswell.
The new reality TV series is called Your OWN Show: Oprah’s Search for the Next TV Star and it will debut next year on OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network).
Here are the details, as posted on Oprah.com:
“Imagine your own show on OWN! If there ever was a time in your life to get up and go out and do that thing that you always wanted to do… NOW is the time. You can be the next Dr. Oz or Rachael Ray or better yet… the next YOU! We’re launching a nationwide search for the next TV Star… all you have to do is go for it.
Oprah and reality TV super producer Mark Burnett (Survivor™ & The Apprentice™) are joining forces in search of the next big TV star. Do you have a big talent, a big personality, a big sense of humor, and a big dream for yourself? If so, this could be your BIG BREAK – the chance of a lifetime to host your own TALK show…on OWN. If you think you have what it takes – upload your video audition or attend one of our open casting calls.”
The nationwide search will set out to discover the next big network TV star. The winner of the competition will be awarded his or her own studio talk show for the OWN network. Live auditions will take place in four cities across the United States, and Atlanta is one of them. Here are the audition locations and dates:
