On April 6 of this year, soulful artist PJ Morton released his second studio recorded album and first collection to enter the charts entitled, “Walk Alone.” Associated Press applauded the album, noting, “PJ Morton’s latest is full of R&B gems… ‘Love You More’ most impressive song on this CD.”

Coming soon to living rooms near you, Morton has been given the co-music director seat for BET network’s popular gospel competition, Sunday Best.

Not only will he help choose the overall music direction of the program, but he will also conduct the ensemble. The show airs Sundays at 8 p.m.

The fun doesn’t stop there for him. At this year’s summer Essence Music Festival at the Louisiana Superdome, Morton will be one of the headlining gospel performers, singing some of the best in his collection.

The three-day event will kick off Fourth of July weekend and over 400,000 are expected to flock to New Orleans to enjoy the beautiful sounds of gospel music.

Morton will be visiting gospel fans all over the country throughout the spring and summer of 2010.
