An Alabama man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly slapping his two-year-old daughter when she ate some of his Pringles, WBRC reported.
Hospital staff called the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department after the child was brought to the emergency room with a large hand print and an abrasion on her face, according to WBRC.
Sheriff’s deputies said 22-year-old Justin Green admitted to hitting his daughter and was charged with child abuse.
“Pringles must be a pretty powerful thing. That you want them all for yourself and you can’t share them with your own two-year-old child,” said Randy Christian of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department.
“You know what…if he thought it was something she would choke on, there’s certainly a proper response for that,” Christian said.
