It’s a big day for Tiger Woods.  The pro golfer will meet the press in conjunction with his first golf tournament since his personal life was upended in late November amidst reports of marital infidelity.  His SUV crash on Thanksgiving night 2009 brought Woods’ alleged affairs to light.  The allegations alienated key sponsors and tarnished a reputation that had been nearly spotless throughout his career.  Woods issued an apology via press statement in February.  He’s also granted short interviews to ESPN and the Golf Channel.  Woods is competing at the Masters Golf Tournament at Augusta this week.  It’ll be his first tournament since his took a hiatus from pro golf after the SUV crash.

Meanwhile, questions remain as to whether Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, will make an appearance in Augusta.  Nordegren — who is the mother of two children with Woods — returned to the public eye briefly last week when she attended the Sony Ericsson Open in Key Biscayne, Florida with her one-year-old son and two bodyguards in tow.
