(Undated)  –  It was the guys’ turn on Wednesday night, as the remaining eight male finalists took the “American Idol” stage.  Twenty-six-year-old Michael Lynche closed out the show in style, as he had judge Kara DioGuardi in tears with his performance of Maxwell’s “This Woman’s Work.”

Twenty-year-old Tim Urban also had a good showing on Wednesday.  The Texas resident has taken his fair share of criticism from the judges, but received high marks on Wednesday for his rendition of the Leonard Cohen-penned song “Hallelujah.”  Lee Dewyze impressed the judges with his performance of Owl City’s “Fireflies,” while Casey James’ version of Keith Urban’s “You’ll Think of Me” was also well received.

Tonight on “American Idol,” two more men and two more women will be sent home, revealing this season’s Top 12.  Tune into Fox tonight at 8 p.m. Eastern for an all-new episode of “American Idol.”
