Robert Washington aka "Praise Man" is a native Houstonian. He was raised as a kid on the south side of town (South Park/MLK Boulevard). He started his music career directing the choir at has Father church and playing the drums. He later became drum major for Ross Shaw Sterling high school Praise Man has worked for Metro Networks and Shadow traffic where he serve as traffic reporter for KTRH Praiseman also work for Horizon Records, KSSQ heaven 1140 and KBXX 97.9 FM where he was known as the "Bass Man".
