A massive search and rescue effort is underway in northeast Japan, a day after a devastating earthquake and tsunami struck the nation. Christians across the country are also joining the relief mission.
CBN’s Senior International Correspondent George Thomas spoke with Dan Iverson, a missionary with the Presbyterian Church in America.
Iverson lives some 200 miles south of the epicenter in the Japanese city of Chiba.
He’s asking the world to pray for Japan as the church seeks ways to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the country.
