DJ Revelation aka Cee

Born in Dallas, Texas and raised in Houston, Texas since the age of 5, music has always been a part of DJ Revelation's life. As a child, he would often mimic the DJ's he heard on the radio as he played records on the technology of the day, the component set! Not one to settle for pretending, DJ Revelation became the go to DJ for his High School parties under his first stage name DJ Crazy C.

After graduating high school and while attending college at U of H, he became interested in making music and not just playing it. He soon produced his first professional record in 1992 by an artist named Big Mello (Rap-a-lot records) he was introduced to via local tastemaker DJ Lester Pace. He and Mello became close friends, this friendship would lead to production work for the Geto Boys, Scarface and many other Rap-a-lot artists. The work done at Rap-a-lot records would lead to production work on such national acts as Wu-Tang Clan, Jodeci, Naughty By Nature, OutKast, Mista Madd and others. Revelation would have many other doors opened in the 90's including co-hosting a long running video show and radio show called "Straight from the Streets" with top rated DJ and longtime friend Madd Hatta.

During the latter part of the 1990's, DJ Revelation aka Crazy C., was drawn ever closer to God and finally gave his life to Christ in 1996; and in 1999 walked away from a successful secular music production career, that was about to go to the next level with a very lucrative contract from an Atlanta production company. He then became very active in his home church and started working with local gospel artists including Shei Atkins and Gary Mayes. Today DJ Revelation is a mixer and on-air personality for Praise 92.1 FM as well as a husband, father, recording studio owner and prayer minister at his local church. Just recently, after much prayer and consultation, God has opened doors for him to return to his music production ardor with the emphasis of spreading the love of Christ via his lifestyle in both the secular and gospel arenas as led by the Holy Spirit. He also is hard at work furthering his new passion and career in radio with every opportunity that becomes available.
