In stressful and trying times , it is always good to meditate on the scriptures.The word is where we live and breathe. It is where we gather strength beyond our wildest dreams.

At least 75% of babies born to HIV positive mothers will test HIV negative without medical intervention. Studies have shown that for properly nourished HIV positive expectant mothers receiving regular prenatal care, over 90% of their children test negative with no drug therapy.What happens when your child tests positive for HIV?

Do you know and experience in your life the gift and power of the Holy Spirit? After his death and resurrection Jesus promised his disciples the gift of the Holy Spirit. Receive the Holy Spirit! Jesus knew his disciples would need the power of the Holy Spirit to carry out the mission entrusted to them.

Jesus not only died for our sins (1 Corinthians 15:3); he also, by the grace of God, tasted death for every one (Hebrews 2:9). It was a real death that put an end to his earthly human existence. Jesus died in mid afternoon and the Sabbath began at 6:00 pm.

They made it a life-time practice to study the six hundred and thirteen precepts of the Old Testament along with the numerous rabbinic commentaries. They tested Jesus to see if he correctly understood the law as they did. Jesus startled them with his profound simplicity and mastery of the law of God and its purpose.

It is spring time. We are watching flowers bloom. We look at the beauty of those flowers but we forget about the fact that these same flowers had to die, cover in frost and snow before we get to see them in their current state. That is the evolution of life and faith.

The National Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS is a call to prayer for the eradication of HIV/AIDS through prayer, education, advocacy and service.

February 7, 2011 marks the 11th year of the National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. With all of the information dispersed out here for us, the numbers of infected African-Americans women and men are still rising.  Why?

As we recognize World AIDS Day today, its imperative that we continue to raise awareness and educate the masses.  Being responsible and protecting ourselves and others is one of our main goals. 

Congratulations! You have the opportunity to be a part of this important day all over the world.  Millions of people are living with HIV and AIDS.  We must continue to raise awareness and protect ourselves and others. 

I’m proud of my fellow Michigan native Magic Johnson for many things.  His accomplishments in sports, business and music are impressive however it’s his tenacious commitment to the fight of raising awareness, cause and treatment of HIV and AIDS that’s quite inspirational.  Not only do I believe this, others such as the AIDS Health Foundation agree.
