US-POLITICS-WHCA-OBAMA

Each spring, D.C.’s notables — and hopefully some bold-name guests — file into the hotel to hear remarks from the president and the selected comedic host — this year, “Community” actor and comedian Joel McHale takes on that role from Conan O’Brien, who had guests of This Town and Tinseltown in stitches last year.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the White House Correspondents’ Association, which throws the one of the biggest parties in town.

To honor the milestone, the History Channel partnered with the WHCA to produce a video chronicling the organization’s inception in 1914 and its growth over the past 100 years. The video, to be screened at the dinner, features interviews including President Barack Obama and former President Bill Clinton as well as former White House press secretaries Mike McCurry and Dana Perino and past celebrity hosts.

Take a look at the photos of the who’s who of tonight’s dinner.
