Michelle Williams returns with a new inspirational single, “If We Had Your Eyes,” even amid rumors she considered leaving Gospel music. Along with new visuals by Derek Blanks, Williams’ performance of the song encourages listeners to live like Jesus Christ lived, The YBF reports.
The message is evident by the lyrics, written by Harmony Samuels:
“If we had Your eyes/We’d see things right/If we could just see from Your point view/Then most things won’t be as they seem/If we had Your eyes”
Michelle’s third Gospel album, “Journey to Freedom,” is expected to drop January 21, 2014.
