Houston police are asking for the public’s assistance in their investigation of a Thanksgiving morning murder.

[audio http://ronenews92fm.files.wordpress.com/2012/11/turkey-day-mrdr-invstgtn-v-martinez.wav]Investigators say at about 2:30 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, November 22nd, the victim drove his vehicle into the parking lot of a closed convenience store in the 7400 block of Longpoint on the city’s west side.
After a brief conversation, a woman got into the man’s car. At that time, two armed men tried to open a door in a robbery try. The victim tried to drive off, but was shot and fatally wounded.
The suspects are described only as three to four young Hispanic males who got away in a dark-colored crew cab pickup truck.
