Congrats to singer Jennifer Hudson who just landed the role as “Veronica Moore” in the musical TV series “Smash”!
Chairman of NBC Entertainment, Robert Greenblatt believes Hudson is one of the best in the business. “This series is a showcase for some of the best musical talent in the business and that’s a fitting description for Jennifer Hudson,” said Greenblatt. “Her character will represent someone who reached their Broadway dream but also paid a price for it.”
This will be Jennifer’s first television role and she will be making her debut in 2013. Her movie roles range from Dreamgirls, Sex and the City 2 and The Secret Life Of Bees.
