Ashli Nicol Heil, 28, of Humble was arrested and booked into the Montgomery County Jail Thursday night on a charge of murder.
Her bond has been set at $250,000. On April 2, Ashli was southbound on FM 1484 in Cut and Shoot when her SUV veered off the roadway and into a tree. Her 8-month-old who was in the back seat was killed. Ashli was flown from the scene to Hermann Hospital by PHI Air Medical.
At the time of her crash, Heil’s blood alcohol was reported to be three times the legal limit.
