Police say a Montgomery County woman was beaten and robbed by a former housekeeper and an accomplice inside her home Wednesday morning.

Mary Cashdollar answered a knock on her door around 10 a.m. at the 400 block of Pine Edge in the Champion Lake subdivision to find Deedra Michelle Grubbs, a woman who had been her former housekeeper. Grubbs asked if there was any work for her.

Grubbs and a male suspect then forced their way into the home where they assaulted Cashdollar. Police say the pair tied her up with a vacuum cleaner cord. The suspects allegedly took weapons and jewelry before fleeing the residence.

Cashdollar was found by deputies around 11:30 a.m. She was transported to an area hospital for treatment.

A warrant has been issued for Grubbs. She is also wanted as a person of interest in two other criminal cases.

If you have information about this case, call Crime Stoppers at 800-392-7867.
