Published reports indicate that a man was fatally shot in his own driveway during an attempted robbery in north Houston. According to police, the shooting happened Sunday evening. The victim was standing outside his pickup truck at a home in the 300 block of San Fernando at Elkins around 9:00 p.m.
Additional reports indicate that an armed suspect approached him and attempted to rob him.The victim was shot several times and reportedly died at the scene. The suspect fled in a white car. Police are not sure if he got away with anything. An investigation continues into the case as authorities look for the suspect.
