The Help” swept the competition this morning as nominations were announced for the 18th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. Also nabbing noms, the Regina King drama “Southland” and Laurence Fishburne for his role as Thurgood Marshall.

DreamWorks production “The Help,” about race relations in the ’60s South, scored four nominations, earning a leading role nomination for Viola Davis who plays the maid Aibileen Clark, supporting noms for Jessica Chastain and Octavia Spencer, and a motion picture ensemble nomination.
