MYFOXHOUSTON.com – Heavy thunderstorms moved through southeast Texas on Monday morning, forcing weather alerts for the Houston area.
Funnel clouds were spotted in various counties, causing momentary tornado warnings. According to officials in Fort Bend County, there was a confirmed tornado touchdown near FM 1093 at FM 723. A house fire was also reported in that area.Some street flooding has been reported in the Katy area, where residents say they can’t leave their neighborhoods.
