Praise 92.1 asked its listeners, “Who has the Best BBQ in Houston?” With no hesitation the phone lines began to go crazy during Robert “Praiseman” Washington’s show. Praiseman gave listeners the opportunity to vote via txt message who they believed had the best BBQ in the Houston area. After hundreds of votes flooded the Praise Network, the top three BBQ restaurants were, Taste Wood’s BBQ (1925 Regional Medical Drive, Wharton, TX ) Boogie’s Chicago Style BBQ (8035 West Airport Boulevard, Houston, TX) and Ray’s BBQ Shack ( 4529 Old Spanish Trail, Ste C, Houston, Texas) Praiseman visited all three BBQ restaurants on his “Dish of the Day” Tour.
