Houston’s James Fortune & FIYA received ten Stellar nods during GMC’s exclusive live coverage of the nomination event from Nashville.
Among the nominations Fortune and his group received were Praise and Worship CD of the Year, Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year for Gospel song “Encore”.
Following close behind are Gospel music duo BeBe and CeCe Winans, Fred Hammond and Marvin Sapp with seven nominations each.
The 26th Annual Stellar Awards will be on January 15, 2011 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster. Air dates will be from January 22, 2011 through March 13, 2011.
