Did you know that 36 children are diagnosed with cancer in America every day? In celebration of National Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, Team Emily invites you to the launch of “Our friends Joey and Emily.” The book addresses the concerns and fears that a child being diagnosed with cancer experiences.

Our Friends Joey & Emily finds

success by introducing to the world an amazing girl and warrior, Emily Banae’ Perkins. Emily was an eight year old girl with an inoperable brain tumor. Though this book is a tale Emily was a real person living in Houston, Texas. It was her real life faith and courage as she battled Cancer that drives this tale. It is Emily’s journey that will empower children around the world with Cancer or any illness to understand and accept their fears about what is happening to their bodies. It is Joey’s imagination and self-determination that teaches children and adults to never underestimate the human spirit. This is a must read for children of all ages.

Please come out to support the legacy of Emily Perkins, meet her mother and share with cancer survivors. Be one of the first to purchase a copy of Emily’s book, stamped with Emily’s signature. This is a keepsake for life! You don’t want to miss this opportunity.
Please share this event with all of your family and friends.
