An American man’s body odor got him booted from an Air Canada flight.

The passenger was waiting for a flight from Charlottetown to Montreal when other passengers caught a whiff.

The flight crew tried to isolate him from the other passengers, but efforts to contain the scent were apparently unsuccessful.

Air Canada asked the man to leave the plane and booked him for a flight the following day.

Airline officials say anyone can be asked to deplane if an issue impacts the safety or comfort of other passengers.

Earlier this week, movie director Kevin Smith sparked debate after he was taken off a Southwest Airlines flight because he was too large.
